Full-time Veterinary Receptionist (Eagle River)

We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented, professional, and compassionate individual who values exceptional client service in addition to the highest quality patient care. This is a fast-paced job, and the successful candidate will be highly organized, dependable, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. The ability to maintain a pleasant demeanor and deliver consistent, first-class client service, regardless of circumstances, is critical.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Refined interpersonal and telephone communication skills
- A high level of computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office)
- Cash and Credit Card handling experience
- An exceptional attention to detail
- A strong work ethic, confidence and an overall great attitude
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- The ability to lift at least 40lbs and be on your feet most of the shift
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet clients
- Manage multiple phone lines
- Schedule appointments
- Generate invoices and explain charges to clients
- Process payments (cash, checks, credit, debit, CareCredit)
- Manage medical records, reports, and correspondence
- Communicate effectively with Doctors, Technicians and Clients
Priority will be given to applicants with previous experience in a veterinary or medical field. Knowledge of IDEXX Cornerstone software is a plus.
