We are looking for a new team member to come join us in beautiful Eagle River! RVC is seeking a professional,
experienced associate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our team. Enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply and will have active and involved mentorship with experienced doctors.
We are a private and locally owned, well-established companion animal clinic founded in 1990, with a
very loyal client base. We offer high quality medical, surgical, and dental care to dogs, cats, birds, small
mammals, and reptiles, delivered with an emphasis on client education. You will be practicing in a very supportive environment with experienced support staff.
Our state of the art, 7000 square foot facility offers a wide range of services, including digital
radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasonography, in-house diagnostics (procyte, catalyst, sedivue), as well as Eastern
Medicine (acupuncture & herbal treatments). We work closely with board certified veterinary specialists to provide the best possible care for our patients.
We require the following for any interested applicant:
-- Graduate from an AVMA accredited DVM or VMD program
-- Possess current & valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the United States and the State of Alaska
-- Have a commitment to provide exceptional medical and surgical care
-- Ability to provide clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, to clients and hospital team members
-- Possess high moral standards, with an emphasis on respect and integrity

We are seeking a professional, LVT/CVT in the great state of Alaska. This position is part time or full time, requiring 24 hours/week minimum. We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented, professional, and compassionate individual who values the highest quality patient care. This is a fast-paced job, and the successful candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and be able to multi-task. The ability to maintain a calm demeanor and deliver consistent, first-class patient care, regardless of circumstances, is critical. Candidates will be evaluated on their technical skills. New graduates will be considered.

- Have graduated from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program and must possess a current and valid CVT/LVT license (or have 2 years of relevant experience if unlicensed)
- Must have a competent working knowledge of digital radiology, digital dental radiology, in-house lab work to include fecal exams and urinalysis, dental prophylaxis, anesthetic protocols, surgical assistance, pharmacology, and general veterinary nursing skills
- Experience and confidence with exotics is a plus
