Dr. Merrigan is a 2006 graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been living in Alaska since she graduated. Dr. Merrigan has 10 years of experience in emergency medicine and surgery. Her veterinary interests include surgery and working up complicated medical cases. She has been with Ravenwood starting first as a relief veterinarian in 2013, moving to full time in 2018, and eventually to practice owner in 2020. Keeping Ravenwood locally owned is a top priority for Dr. Merrigan. Outside of work she enjoys running and hiking with her dogs, cooking beautiful food, and gardening.

Dr. Turnquist is originally from Oregon, and moved to Alaska in 2016 with her husband, 3 snakes, lizard, dog and cat. Since being here she could not see living anywhere else. She has a special interest in exotics and reptiles, as well as small animal dentistry. Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic has become a second home for her. She loves all of her patients and clients and feels that all of the staff get to have a special relationship with those we work with in our small community. When she is not at work, she loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and their friends hiking, fishing, camping and generally just enjoying Alaska.

Dr. Wetherell was born and raised in Alaska. She graduated from University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery. When not at work she enjoys hiking, reading, sci-fi TV, and traveling.

Dr. Wilson is originally from Houston, Texas and lived in New York and Hawaii while in the military. She received her DVM and MS from Cornell after getting out of the Army; Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist from Chi Institute; and Massage certification from Equissage. She enjoys working at Ravenwood because the staff and clients truly care about each and every pet, and that makes treating patients much more effective and fun! She enjoys learning every animal's story and helping them to have a more comfortable life. She has a rescue dog and cat at home. They enjoy cross country skiing, hiking, and camping. She also loves to help out at sled dog races.
